Arsenal has officially unveiled their new signing Kai Havertz who joins from Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The Red Side of London have completed a signing for German forward who will play a huge part in the Gunners team next season.

Kai Havertz is now an Arsenal player and will be making his debut with the Preseason coming up in July 1, 2023.

The deal was one which the Premier League side had to make after Real Madrid dropped out of the race to make anything happen.

The German player was the one who also gave the green light for a move as he wasn’t looking to remain with Chelsea ahead of the new season.

Arsenal took to their official website to unveil and announce Kai Havertz as a new player for their team ahead of the new season.

Here Is What Havertz Said:

“It’s super exciting for me to be joining this amazing club and to be part of the Arsenal family.

“This club has such a big history, and I hope we can achieve lots of things.”

“The mentality in the Arsenal squad is very high and you can feel that.

“That was one of the reasons why it has been so hard to play against Arsenal recently.

“The aim is to win trophies and I’m going to give everything to do that for the supporters and everyone at the club.

“I’m now looking forward to meeting all the players and the staff when we come back for pre-season.”

Mikel Arteta On Kai Havertz:

“Kai is a player of top quality. He has great versatility and is an intelligent player.

“He will bring a huge amount of extra strength to our midfield and variety to our play.

“We welcome Kai and his family to Arsenal Football Club and we are all excited to start working with him when we start pre-season training soon.”

Edu On Kai Havertz:

“We’re excited to bring Kai to the club and great work by everyone to get this deal complete.

“Kai is an exciting addition to our squad, who will bring great attacking quality and versatility.

“As an experienced 24-year-old, his signing represents another important step in strengthening our young core of talented players we have at Arsenal. We look forward to working with Kai.”

The lanky forward will be hoping he can rediscover himself under Mikel Arteta and make sure he is a huge part of the Arsenal team.

The Gunners will be playing in the UEFA Champions League for the new season and that has prompt them to start signing big players to their team.

Kai Havertz move is one which leave Chelsea with less quality players in their team as they are also preparing for the new season.
