Napoli ended their 33 years wait for the Serie A trophy in style after salvaging a draw against Udinese in Serie A, MySportDab reports.

Napoli needed a win against Salernitana to clinch the trophy in their last game but were disappointed when the visitors grabbed a late equaliser that delayed their wait for the trophy.

Against Udinese, they needed a draw and finally got the result to clinch the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years.

Udinese nearly dent Napoli Serie A title hopes early in the frist half when Lovric gave Udinese the lead just 13 minutes into the game.

Napoli needed a second half strike by prolific Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, to salvage a draw.

It was a trophy winning goal for Napoli as they held on to draw 1-1 after full time to clinch the Serie A trophy.

The City of Naples was already lit after Napoli were confirmed Serie A champions.

In a footage, available at the end of this post, it was all fireworks as the Azzuri won their first Serie A in three decades.

Napoli players and staff replicated the celebrations with wild scenes in the dressing room.

Nigeria international and Serie A highest scorer, Victor Osimhen, could be seen leading the wild dressing room celebrations as the players sang and danced celebrating the victory.

Osimhen jumped on table dancing and roaring with joy as Napoli players surround him joining in the singing.

It was a big moment for Victor Osimhen having equaled George Weah’s 46 goal tally – the highest number of goals ever scored by an African player in Serie A.

Osimhen also broke Samuel Eto’o’s Serie A goal record in a season having nudged in 22 goals for Napoli so far in the campaign.
