Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane is closing in on a return to the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

Mane has struggled at Bayern Munich just months after joining the club from Liverpool in the summer.

Under former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann, Sadio Mane struggled to break into the Bavarians’ starting lineup.

At the cusp of the 2022 World Cup, he was dealt with an injury blow that worsened his condition at the club.

He was sidelined for months before making his return but was still unable to break into Julian Nagelsmann lineup.

Mane is also out of favor under current Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel.

Sources close to the club reveal, Thomas Tuchel is not keen on carrying on Sadio Mane in his Bayern Munich squad because he is not his typical type of striker.

The former Liverpool star is set to return to the Premier League with some Premier League clubs interested in signing him.

Chelsea is among the number of clubs that has been linked with Sadio Mane with the Blues reportedly interested in signing the Senegal international.

Amidst rumours linking Mane to Premier League return, reports reaching us Bild says Bayern Munich are ready to let Sadio Mane leave at the end of the summer, including former Arsenal star Serge Gnabry.

The club are reportedly ready to entertain offers for the Senegal international in what will be a big boost to Chelsea’s pursuit of the striker.

As things stand, Sadio Mane is closing in on his Premier League return just months after exiting Liverpool last year.

Since joining the Bundesliga giants, Mane has made 22 Bundesliga appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals with 4 assists.
