The Premier League have shortlisted eight great goals for the Goal of the Month of April Award, MySportDab reports.
In the month of April, a number of great goals were scored by top and talented players as the Premier League continued in its usual goal blitz with exceptional performances by some players.
Some of the big names whose goal have made it to the final eight shortlists include Erling Haaland’s goals, Julio Enciso, and Matheus Nunes strike.
It is not surprising Julio Enciso’s strike against Chelsea on April 15 have made it to the award.
Enciso delivered a thunderbolt strike from outside the box to compound Chelsea woes.
It was a clinical goal which helped the Seagulls secured a shock 2-1 win over the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
Also on the list is Michael Keane’s strike in Everton’s 1-1 draw against Tottenham on April 3.
Matheus Nunes goal against Chelsea on April 8 has also made to the list.
Nunes beat the odds to fire Wolves into the lead with a brilliant strike giving Wolves the only goal that saw them grab all three points against Chelsea.
In Manchester City’s 4-1 thrashing of Southampton on April 15, Erling Haaland’s goal has also made it to the list.
Two goals from two Newcastle players, Jacob Murphy and Callum Wilson, in the 4-1 win over Everton on April 27, have been nominated for the award.
The best goals will be picked for the award later in the month.
