Napoli completed the job at home as the beat Fiorentina 1-0 to lift the Serie A title, MySportDab reports.
Victor Osimhen once again prove to be the man of the match after scoring a which which he missed one early in the game.
First Half ReportÂ
The first half didn’t provide anything much as both teams did more than enough but couldn’t make a goal happen in the 45 minutes.
Napoli came into the match after confirming themselves as Champions of the league after playing a draw in their previous game which was all they needed.
The game continued with Fiorentina also giving a good account of themselves and they did create some opportunities but getting the goal wasn’t something they could make happen.
Alot more happen but couldn’t separate them as the match pushed on entering the final minutes left to be played in the first half of the encounter.
Fiorentina held Napoli to a 0-0 goalless draw in the first half after 45 minutes which saw them heading inside for the break with so much played.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second half was different coming from both teams who had to do a lot of work which only the home side benefited from everything.
Napoli had the opportunity to take the lead in the 48th minutes, but Victor Osimhen couldn’t convert from the penalty spot as the scoreline stayed 0-0.
The Nigerian International wasted no time in making sure he redeemed himself from the same penalty spot in the 74th minutes of the game to make it 1-0 between them against Fiorentina.
The match looked good between them as they kept on pushing with different objectives from both teams who wanted to make something happen.
Napoli held everything down so good as they ended the match with a 1-0 victory against Fiorentina which also saw them lifting the Serie A Scudetto title on their home ground after 90 minutes.
