Victor Osimhen has now spoken again about leaving Napoli this summer, MySportDab reports.
The Nigerian has said that he is loving live in Italy at Napoli despite links of a move to the Premier League this summer.
Osimhen has played a key role in Napoli’s title bid by scoring 21 goals in 24 league matches so far this season.
His form has attracted the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, Osimhen has now said that he is very happy currently now at Napoli.
‘We are close to our goal and cannot wait to for it to happen, to make it a reality,’ Osimhen told TG5.
‘We have always believed, and knew we could do something exceptional, even when nobody else believed. The love from the city is great, I have never gotten so much love. I can’t wait to celebrate at the stadium.’
In March, Osimhen revealed his dreams of playing in the Premier League, leaving fans wondering if EPL clubs would try to sign him.
But he is very delighted with his progress at Napoli, and the club remains close to his heart.
‘I’m at a great club and my career is growing very well,’ he added.
‘This is definitely one of the biggest clubs. Forza Napoli always!’
Osimhen missed Napoli’s Champions League loss to AC Milan last week but returned from injury on Saturday against Hellas Verona.
AC Milan won the first leg 1-0 at the San Siro on Wednesday, but Napoli will have Osimhen back for the second leg.
