Chelsea are reportedly planning a shock move for Bayern Munich forward and former Liverpool star, Sadio Mane, MySportDab reports.

The Blues are desperately in need of strikers to salvage the plight of the club after Todd Boehly’s record transfer spending has yielded no result for the team.

Chelsea are struggling in front of goals and have failed to find the back of the net this month in the Premier League.

The club are planning to reinforce the Blues’s attacking lineup in the summer after the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fell off the club’s pecking order after arriving from Barcelona last summer.

Reports reaching us from Football Insider confirms Chelsea are planning a move for Sadio Mane at the end of the summer.

The former Premier League star has struggled at Bayern Munich since joining the club from Liverpool last summer.

Under former Bayern Munich manager manager, Julian Nagelsmann, Sadio Mane struggled to break into Bayern Munich’s starting lineup.

His condition at the club was worsened when he picked up an injury blow in the buildup to the 2022 World Cup that left on the sidelines for months.

Under current Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel, Sadio Mane is still struggling to find his footing at the club.

Rumours have linked him to an imminent exit from Bayern Munich at the end of the summer with Thomas Tuchel not keen on including him in his plans for the club.

There are reports Bayern Munich are ready to let Sadio Mane leave at the end of the summer less than a year into his spell at the club.

Now, Chelsea are reportedly interested in the Senegal international as the Blues plan to beef up their attack next season.

Sadio Mane won the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup in his six years stint with Liverpool.

A move to Chelsea could see the African Footballer of the Year return to the Premier League but this time to Stamford Bridge.
