Manchester United Confirm Squad Update Ahead of Real Betis Europa League Clash

Manchester United have confirmed their squad update ahead of the Europa League clash Vs Real Betis, MySportDab reports.

Recently, the Red Devils’ squad has been marred with injuries which seems to have impacted on the club’s brilliant run, nearly grounding it to a halt.

Antony Martial, Christian Eriksen, and recently Alejandro Garnacho have been ruled out of action for the Red Devils, including Van De Beek.

The club also suffered a major blow when Casemiro bagged his second red card in three Premier League games and will miss the club’s next four fixtures.

The depleted squad has affected the club who have now gone two Premier League games without a win and are gradually being dragged into the Premier League top four race.

However, in Manchester United’s training this morning, two new faces that have been sidelined due to injury were spotted training with the rest of the squad.

Marcel Sabitzer who joined the club on loan from Bayern Munich trained with the team after being sidelined.

Victor Lindelof, who missed action in the weekend due to illness also returned to the squad.

The club has confirmed the return of the two players, with Marcel Sabitzer said to be a major boost to the team to replace the suspended Casemiro in United’s domestic fixtures.

Casemiro will only miss domestic league action not UEFA competitions.

Further update on the squad as made available on the club’s official website also reveal Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes are in good shape ahead of the Europa League tie against Real Betis.

Antony was confirmed absent from the training, including Antony Martial.

Antony may likely make the team’s traveling squad to be released before the game after featuring for the team in their last Premier League action.

Martial’s injury condition is undisclosed but he was confirmed absent from the training session and may not likey make the traveling squad to Spain.

Manchester United will travel to Spain to take on Real Betis in the second leg of Europa League round 16 on Thursday.

The won the first leg 4-1 and will be hoping to consolidate no the win and progress to the quarterfinals.
