Marcus Rashford has withdrawn from taking part in International duty today, MySportDab reports.

Marcus Rashford has been removed from the England team to confront Italy and Ukraine this week.

His removal comes after a knock in Manchester United FA Cup victory against Fulham at Old Trafford yesterday.

In the meantime, the FA has confirmed that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Nick Pope will also be leaving the team.

While neither outfield player will be replaced, Tottenham goalkeeper Fraser Forster has been called up to replace Newcastle stopper Pope.

Graham Potter expressed his surprise at the midfielder’s inclusion on Friday, Mount’s absence was anticipated. He has been injured in the pubic bone.

In United’s comeback victory over Fulham, Rashford was replaced in the 83rd minute, but his injury was not discussed. Before Fred took his place, he could be seen stumbling around.

The issue is now looking serious as the player won’t be taking part in any international game for now until he recovers.

England is going to deal with the absence of the striker who has been in form since the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Manchester United player was one of the best-performing stars last year in Qatar despite getting little playing time with the Three Lions.

He was their leading goalscorer before they crash out of the World Cup losing against France who went on to reach the final.

Meanwhile Manchester United are yet to confirm how long Marcus Rashford will be out injured.

The international break is expected to last until next month which will see League football resume with the Old Trafford club still in the race for at least two titles.

Marcus Rashford has returned to Old Trafford where he will be accessed and further details will be confirmed soon.
