France claimed a 0-1 away victory against the Republic Of Ireland in their second Euro 2024 qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.
Benjamin Pavard scored the match winner which ensured his side claimed all the needed three points in the encounter.
First Half Report
Both teams were game in the first half which they didn’t let anything went past them for the 45 minutes which was tense.
The Republic of Ireland did well enough in making sure they kept everything balance and made sure they didn’t go down easy.
France dominated play but couldn’t fancy any chance of hitting the target or make something happen in the match which carried on.
Alot was seen coming from them but the scoreline stayed the same with no goal and no shot on target which was the talking point.
France were unable to make anything happen as they headed inside for the break with a 0-0 scoreline against Republic of Ireland after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half was a bit different with both teams doing more than enough from their end to bring about a goal.
France held on fine with their dominance until Benjamin Pavard scored in the 50th minutes of the game which made the scoreline 0-1.
The Republic of Ireland kept doing their uttermost best to keep themselves in the game despite already going down in the encounter. They remained focused and did a lot going forward.
The scoreline remained in the favor of the away side who managed to do more than enough which was needed to keep them in the lead for the remaining minutes which was all filled with wasted chances.
France claimed a narrow 0-1 victory after 90 minutes of the game which was a hard fought one for them against the Republic of Ireland who gave a good account of themselves.
