Liverpool have defeated hard-fighting Wolves in the Premier League after scoring two quick goals late in the second half, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a hotly contested game between both sides as Liverpool hoped to turn around their Premier League misfortunes this season.
Wolves had given the Reds a good run, matching the struggling Jurgen Klopp-led team man-to-man and trying to get something out of the game.
Liverpool galvanized on the home advantage to have a slight control of the game and come across a series of chances but were largely wasteful on the front.
The Reds did not totally have firm control of proceedings in the game but were obviously posing existential threats to the Wolves’ defense.
Julen Lopetegui needed to do more with Wolves who managed only one attempt on target despite contesting strongly for possession with Liverpool.
The Reds were firing at all points in the game trying to find an opener without a breakthrough.

Second Half Report
Liverpool got the ball to a speedy start going into the second half as they looked to break the goal deadlock.
The game was obviously rough in the first half with the referee issuing four yellow cards before the end of the first half
Just a few minutes into the second half 2 more yellow cards were issued by the referee as both sides became more physical.
After crossing the hour-mark in the game Liverpool finally found an opener but it was canceled and the scoreline returned to 0-0.
After having the first goal canceled, Liverpool quickly put one back again in the 73rd minute with Van Dijk giving the Reds the lead.
Four minutes after the first goal, Liverpool doubled the lead with Mo Salah making it 2-0 for the Reds to seal the win.
The match ended with the Reds securing all three points with the two quickfire goals.
