Barcelona and Rel Madrid had an eventful El Classico which ended in a 2-1 result in favor of Barca, MySportDab reports.
The encounter was an entertaining one which saw both of them making sure they have it all their possible best all through the 90 minutes.
First Half ReportÂ
Both teams had a go at each other in the first half of the encounter which saw them making something happen at a point in time.
Real Madrid drew first blood in the 9th minutes which saw Ronald Araujo scored an own-goal which gifted the away side a 0-1 advantage.
The game carried on with Barcelona doing a lot from their end to ensure the game came back, but it didn’t happen immediately for them with the time slowly slipping.
Sergi Roberto scored the level things in the 45th minutes of the game which was an outstanding finish making the scoreline 1-1 as the match opened up more.
Barcelona and Real Madrid couldn’t make any difference as they finished the first half goalless. Both teams settled for a 1-1 scoreline after 45 minutes played.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second half was a brilliant one which was tactical from both managers. It wasn’t an easy one coming from both teams who were good.
Real Madrid weren’t that bad as the game pushed on further with them doing as much as possible like their opponent was doing in the match.
Barcelona were more dominant but couldn’t make anything happen in the game which had them pressure so hard to take the lead which did not come for them.
The game slowly entered the final minutes left to be played with so much opportunities created and none could benefit any of them no matter how close they came.
Marco Asensio goal was ruled out by VAR before Franck Kessie scored a late goal in the match which saw the scoreline go 2-1 in favor of the home side.
Barcelona claimed all three points from the 2-1 victory against Real Madrid. The win also meant that the home side increased their lead on top of the table.
