Erik Ten Hag CONFIRM Decision On Bruno Fernandes As Captain

Manchester United manager have confirmed his decision on Bruno Fernandes as captain, MySportDab reports.

There have been issues concerning the Portuguese staying as captain of Manchester United in recent complains.

Bruno Fernandes got himself in some issues with the referee which have resulted in a scandal that have question his place as captain of the team.

The Portuguese International has been leading the team since Harry Maguire absent which have seen the side growing better.

Erik Ten Hag has made a lot of statement concerning the issue of the captaincy for his side which is between Fernandes and Maguire.

Meanwhile, Harry Maguire hasn’t been seeing much game time which suggested that he could be sold in the transfer window.

The England International decided to stay and fight for his place, but due to limited playing time and injury, he has been unable to captain the side.

Erik Ten Hag had a lot to say during his press conference which was confirmed according to reports from Fabrizio Romano.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Bruno Fernandes remains captain.

“Erik ten Hag confirms he trusts Bruno Fernandes as Manchester United captain and leader.

“I’m happy to have Bruno Fernandes as captain, he’s definitely still captain with Harry Maguire.

“He’s playing a brilliant season, he’s played an important role in the position that we are by giving energy to the team, running with intensity, in the right way”.

“Marcus Rashford also confirms: “I love playing with Bruno, as you can imagine.

“I’m 100% behind him. Bruno helped other players become better leaders”

Bruno Fernandes is expected to remain as Manchester United captain as they continue their impressive run of form which was halted by Liverpool.

The Old Trafford club will have to overcome a 7-0 loss in their last game as they go up against Real Betis in the Europa League tomorrow.
