OFFICIAL! Ronaldinho Son Joao Mendes Joins Barcelona
Ronaldinho son Joao Mendes has been confirmed to play for Barcelona, MySportDab reports.
Joao Mendes will look to carry on his father legacy of playing with Barcelona where he intend to break into the senior team.
There are high hopes and expectations for the 17 year old who have been building himself away from the media.
The youngster is said to have great potentials just like his father who went on to conquer the world before his retirement.
Joao Mendes is expected to continue pushing the name and reputation his father left behind so many years ago.
The news of the youngster joining Barcelona was made official by the club president Joan Laporta.
According to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the story of the playing making the move happen earlier today.

“Ronaldinho’s son João Mendes (17) will play for Barcelona, confirmed.
“Joan Laporta: “We’re proud to continue the Ronaldinho ‘saga’.
“His son João will have a contract with us, he’s good — we still don’t know if it will be with Juvenil B team”.
The youngster was earlier claimed to have gone for a try out without making his identity known to the officials.
As it may seems now, he will be joining Barcelona as they made it public after a press conference which was made by the President.
Joao Mendes is one who the media have been monitoring for a while, but he went off the radar which was obvious to keep him away from pressure.
He is now set to take on the next phase of his career which puts him back on the eyes of the media who will be expecting a lot.
