Manchester United Coach Erik Ten Hag has now confirmed that three key players will miss the next two games, MySportDab reports.

The Dutch coach has worked that his players are suffering from ‘overload’ of work this season.

Antony, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial will not be available for Sunday’s Premier League match at Elland Road and against Barcelona.

The three new injuries add to other long-term casualties Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek, who remain unavailable.

Meanwhile, Casemiro is still serving his red card ban in the Premier League and will miss the Leeds game.

Ten Hag is now concerned that a crowded fixture list is putting too much stress on his players.

United play eight matches in February, and still have the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle.

If the Red Devils progress in the Europa League and FA Cup, it would further affect their Premier League schedule.

‘Definitely, it’s been a difficult season,’ said Ten Hag.

‘With the World Cup coming along, there’s too much for the players, that’s obvious. It’s just too much.’

Alejandro Garnacho replaced Antony against Leeds but had to be taken off after missing several chances.

Ten Hag says Garnacho must score or create goals to justify a place in the team.

‘He’s emotional, that’s his obvious strength,’ he added.

‘He wants to win, play football, get many minute, and that is a good thing.

‘He had some chances but needs to take them. We expect him to have an impact, and positively influence the game.’
