Juventus are reportedly plotting a move to terminate the contract of France international Paul Pogba, MySportDab reports.

The Serie A giants have come under heavy pressure due to their recent travails in the league and the prolonged absence of Paul Pogba from the squad.

Juventus spent £31m to bring back Paul Pogba to Turin after the latter left the club six years ago for Manchester United in a record £100m deal.

The club had tipped the 29-year-old to replace Paulo Dybala and bring the spark back to the team as he did in his previous spell with the club.

However, after joining the Old Ladies following an acrimonious exit from Old Trafford, Paul Pogba is yet to make an appearance for the club.

He picked up an injury in the club’s pre-season friendly and has been sidelined for months, missing 27 Juventus matches.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are furious and are looking at the possibility of terminating the contract of the former Manchester United forward.

The club are reportedly angry at how Paul Pogba handled his knee injury which has elongated his duration on the sidelines.

Pogba refused to go for a surgical operation on his knee injury, compounding the problem before he later changed his mind.

Also, Juventus are furious over his delayed appearance in the team although he had maintained a steady online presence.

Paul Pogba signed a four-year contract with Juventus worth £7m every year, and the club is said to have fumed after forking out £2.9m for Pogba last year although he has not made any appearance for the club.

Paul Pogba returned to the squad in their shock 2-0 defeat to Monza, but was benched in the game with the Juventus boss confirming his debut was delayed after he “suffered soreness in the flexors.”

Pogba’s injury crisis at Juventus had added to the club’s problem this season. Italian Football Association have deducted 15 points from the team amidst the financial irregularities scandal.

The club is also considering selling him apart from the outright termination of his contract.

Paul Pogba missed 100 matches during his six years at Manchester United due to injury problems.

As things stand, his relationship with Juventus has been ruptured as he seems to travel on a similar trajectory.
