Barcelona claimed an amazing victory 0-1 away from home against Villarreal to remain number one, MySportDab reports.
Pedri was on target once again in a match which he was able to help his side make something good happen for them.
First Half ReportÂ
Both teams had their moments in the first half of the game which could have meant more if they put them all into good use as they came in numbers.
Barcelona started well putting the pressure with hopes of making something happen early to ensure they soften the remainder of the match.
Villarreal were good until the 18th minutes which saw Pedri netting from a stunner which made the scoreline 0-1 for the visitors who were the better side.
The remainder of the 45 minutes was amazing coming from both sides who did everything in their power but scoring wasn’t an easy one for them.
The first half came to an end with Barcelona heading for the break with a 0-1 lead against Villarreal after a wonderful 45 minutes of football between them.
Second Half ReportÂ
There was more action with both teams coming on for the second half with so much fire in them which saw starting off with good pace.
Barcelona were calm and playing a collective football knowing everything was in the hands after taking the lead in the first half of the encounter.
Villarreal did all in their power to make something happen in the match but it didn’t work out as anytime they try to score, it just wasn’t hitting the intended target.
The game was tight as they both continued doing all their possible best to get something from their end which could prove good, but it was still no luck story.
The match came to an end with Barcelona escaping with a narrow 0-1 victory against Villarreal as they tightened their stay at the top of the laliga table.
