Real Madrid claimed a 1-3 victory against Al Ahly at the FIFA Club World Cup after 90 minutes, MySportDab reports.
The Madrid side have now made their way into the final which they will be playing against Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in few days.
First Half Report
It was a beautiful showdown in the first half of the encounter as both teams were eager and motivated to make something happen very early.
Al Ahly were stationed at the back making sure nothing was going past them as they knew the pressure will be all over them to deliver as the match carried on.
Real Madrid didn’t look like a side who could make anything happen hitting the half hour mark and they were still fighting so hard to make sure they get a opener.
Vinicius Junior made it count in the 42nd minutes of the game after a wonderful effort which was perfect excited by the Brazilian to make it 0-1.
The first half wasn’t so much impressive as it ended with Real Madrid escaping with a 0-1 lead against Al Ahly who didn’t do too bad themselves.
Second Half Report
The second half was the most lively of both 45 minutes which saw more goals being scored with VAR coming to play.
Federico Valverde made it 0-2 for Real Madrid in the 46th minutes which was immediately after kickoff from the second half that led to the goal.
Al Ahly were good enough to pull one goal back from the penalty spot in the 65th minutes from Ali Maaloul who was able to make it 1-2.
More action was seen as Luka Modric goal in the 87th minutes didn’t count due to VAR making an intervention to cancel the goal as the match carried on.
Rodrygo scored a stunner in the 90th plus added minutes which made the scoreline to make everything 1-3 between them as it continued.
Another late one from Sergio Arribas made sure Real Madrid advance into the final of the FIFA Club World Cup beating Al Ahly 1-4 in an enticing match between both teams.
