Manchester United consolidated in their chase of a top four finish as they defeated Bournemouth to secure all three points, MySportDab reports.

First Half Reports

Manchester United dominated proceedings as the first half of the game began and looked set to take an early lead.

Bournemouth equally mounted a stiff opposition and wrestled with the Red Devils for the ball possession.

Both sides failed to find the back of the net despite coming across series of chances.

Manchester United were the better team overall, as they created more chances and pressed hard for a goal.

Galvanizing on the home advantage and a great and superior display, Manchester United finally took the lead the 23rd minute with Casemiro with the goal.

Bournemouth immediately ramped up pressure on the Red Devils, but failed to create a clear chance going forward.

Manchester United held on and went into the first half break with the narrow 1-0 lead.

Second Half Report

Manchester United continued to hold sway over the game as the second half began.

Bournemouth played second fiddle to tne Red Devils, and failed to have considerably chunk of the possession as they did in towards the end of the first half.

Manchester United were more deadly going forward, and were making frantic efforts to double and secure the lead.

The Red Devils finally doubled the lead in the 49th minute with Luke Shaw on the scoresheet for the team.

Rashford scored in the 86th minute to seal the win for Manchester United as they ran out with a 3-0 win after the final whistle.
