Barcelona claimed a narrow 1-0 victory against Gatefa to remain top of the Laliga table, MySportDab reports.
Pedri scored the only goal which helped the home team get the needed three points that was well deserved by them.
First Half ReportÂ
The first half was strong coming from both teams who had their own opportunities but couldn’t make all of them count in the game.
Getafe were on point in the early stages which saw them doing more than enough from their end to ensure they make something happen which proved difficult.
Barcelona were more in control but they couldn’t find the back of the net with so much coming from both them and their opposition.
Pedri scored in the 35th minutes of the match which was thanks to a glorious teamwork effort which led to the goal being scored that made it 1-0.
The first half ended with Barcelona taking a 1-0 advantage into the break against Gatefa who wasnt an easy nut to crack in the 45 minutes of the match.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second half was a different encounter but it wasn’t too open as they find it difficult making something happen in the match which was good for the home side.
Barcelona continued with all the fight they have in them to keep the lead intact while they also pushed forward hoping to secure something good which didn’t come.
Getafe were also optimistic as they came close on a couple of occasions to score but they were denied on all front and opportunities going forward with attempts.
The match carried on with the 90th minutes coming to play and the scoreline stayed the same with the opportunities kept on flying from both end.
The match came to an end with Barcelona claiming all three points in a 1-0 victory against Getafe which sees them remain at the top of the table.
