First Half Report
The game started well for both teams who had different objectives coming into the encounter knowing they need a result to qualify for the next round.
Marseille came into the match looking for all three points which could see them qualify above Spurs as they started the game as the better of both teams going forward.
Tottenham had their opportunities but failed to make them count as they continued riding on luck and hopes of not losing the game as that would mean them going out.
The whole game carried on with them entering the additional time of the first half which saw the home side scored the opening goal through Chancel Mbemba in the 45th minute plus added time to make it 1-0.
That goal was the shocker as Tottenham headed inside for the break losing 1-0 against Marseille who put their late opportunity into good use and it gifted them with the advantage.
Second Half Report
There was a lot of changes in the second half which started well for both teams moving forward and looking for something to happen in the game.
