The draws for the group stages of the UEFA Women Champions League have been completed today, MySportDab reports.

The Champions Lyon will be looking to defend the title they won against Barcelona last season in the 2022-2023 campaign.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both the only teams coming from England to represent their region with both London sides making it into the group stages.

Barcelona is Real Madrid are the only sides from Spain with them looking to progress from the group stages this season.

It won’t be an easy one with the groups looking tough with the draws that have been made by UEFA today which will see game commence in the coming weeks.

Two teams will be making it out of the group stages as winners who will automatically advance into the next round of the competition.

The likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Wolfsburg, Juventus and title holders Lyon made it into the group stages automatically.

Others joined through via qualifications which saw them playing some rounds of games before they made it through into the big stages.

Manchester City won’t be making it this season as they failed to make it through the qualification series which they were beaten.

The UEFA Women Champions League group stages will commence on 19th of October which will see it run until 22nd December.

Matchday 3: 23/24 November

Matchday 4: 7/8 December

Matchday 5: 15/16 December

Matchday 6: 21/22 December

Quarter-final And Semi-final draw

3 or 4 June

The group winners and runner up will progressed out of the group heading into the quarterfinals which four winners will be selected.
