Luka Modric scored as Real Madrid claimed a 3-1 win against Sevilla, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams did well enough to make the first half wonderful with so much happening going forward and also defending.
Real Madrid wasted no time in scoring the opening goal which came in the 5th minutes from Luka Modric who was able to finish off neatly to make it 1-0.
Sevilla had opportunities of theirs which followed up immediately, but they couldn’t put it to good use as the game carried on forward between them for the night.
Alot more was seen but nothing changed the scoreline which remained on the favor of the home who were also having to deal with pressure coming from their opponent.
The first half came to an end with Real Madrid taking a 1-0 advantage into the break against Sevilla after an amazing 45 minutes of football played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was another one which had so much more happening in the game that had more opportunities and more drama.
Real Madrid carried on with their advantage looking good and also working on finishing off the game to enable them have a bit of rest from their opponent who knew the led was still slender.
Erik Lamela scored in the 54th minute to level up the scoreline for Sevilla through a wonderful finish that saw things coming to 1-1 as the game continued looking good for both sides.
Lucas Vazquez scored in the 79th minute of the game making the scoreline 2-1 in favor of the home side who regain their lead once again as things carried on.
Federico Valverde scored another one on the 81st minutes of the game making things increase further 3-1 as it was looking good for them on the pitch moving on.
The game ended with Real Madrid cruising away with a 3-1 victory against Sevilla after 90 minutes of football played between them for the night.
