Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty as Borussia Dortmund hold Manchester City to a 0-0 draw, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
Both teams had it fair enough in the first half which they were given a lot of opportunities of making something happened but failed.
Borussia Dortmund leveled the playing ground this time around against their opponent who gave them no chance in the first leg of the encounter in England.
Manchester City were given a lot of tough time against the side that couldn’t hold their own against them in every way possible despite all their dominance moving forward.
So much opportunities was seen but nothing could materialize as the game carried on into the added minutes which was made available by the linesman.
The first half ended with Borussia Dortmund holding Manchester City to a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes of football played between them for the night which wasn’t looking good.
Second Half Report
The second half started with so much more coming from the two sides who were looking forward to making something happen.
Manchester City were in their best as they continued knocking on the door of their opponent hoping for them to slip off while they make something happen in the game.
Borussia Dortmund had their goalkeeper to thank in the 58th minute as he was able to save Riyad Mahrez penalty which kept the scoreline at 0-0 as it continued.
The game continued with them entering the 80th minute and still nothing to separate both teams who have done all in their power to make something happen which didn’t come through at any point.
Nothing else happened despite all their efforts, the match ended with Borussia Dortmund holding Manchester City to a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes of football which was played between the both of them.
