FT: Copenhagen 0-0 Manchester City, 10-Man City Earn DRAW! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)
Manchester City with 10-man survive with a goalless draw 0-0 against Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was extraordinary coming from both teams as Manchester City were faced with a lot of disappointment all through the 45 minutes.
The Premier League side started the game on the right foot as they scored in the 11th minute, but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be as VAR ruled out the goal scored by Rodri leaving the scoreline goalless.
Copenhagen were faced with another challenge which saw them conceding a penalty in the 25th minute of the game but thankfully once again Riyad Mahrez was unable to score from the spot.
Things got more complicated for the away side as Sergio Gomez was shown a straight red card in the 30th minute from a reckless challenge resulting to City being reduced to 10-man.
The first half of the game came to an end with Copenhagen holding Manchester City to a 0-0 result after 45 minutes of football played between both teams for the night.
Second Half Report
Both teams came back into the pitch with a lot more happening between them as they were pushing to make sure all three points is theirs for the game.
Copenhagen were still unable to use the one man advantage they had to their favor as the game continued further with the scoreline still goalless between both teams.
It wasn’t a good one too for Manchester City who were also pushing so hard to make sure they took the lead despite being at a disadvantage following the sending off of Sergio Gomez in the first half.
They approached the 80th minute with still the same scoreline which left the game with just 10 minutes to be played which was just filled with wasted opportunities.
The match ended with 10-man Manchester City holding Copenhagen to a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes of football played between them.
