Late handball from Brentford was overlooked as Chelsea was held to a 0-0 draw away from home, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The two teams had an amazing first half in terms of keeping things clean at the back but going forward wasn’t too good for them.
Brentford were the better of both sides who had more of the ball and were able to cause a lot of troubles but thanks to a solid defending from the Blues they held on fine.
Armando Broja who had the opportunity of starting this game did well enough going forward and making some opportunities which he couldn’t finish off neatly for his second goal.
The game carried on with nothing much coming from both sides who could only manage some wasted opportunities and couldn’t make something happen in the match.
Things carried on and came to an end in the first half with Chelsea being held to a goalless 0-0 draw after 45 minutes of football played between them for the night.
Second Half Report
The second half started brightly for both of them who pushed more going forward in search of the opening goal which didn’t happen at once.
Chelsea pressed more in the match which saw them taking over the ball possession and fighting so hard with everything falling to work in their favor.
So much defending was seen from Brentford who did well enough to cover up and their goalkeeper as also on standby making some incredible saves.
The match carried on with so much coming from the Blues as Christian Pulisic and Chukwuemeka getting their opportunities but didn’t make it count.
The match ended with Brentford holding Chelsea to a 0-0 result after 90 minutes of football which was played between the two of them for the night which was a good one for the home side.
