Robert Lewandowski scored a brace as Barcelona thrashed Villarreal 3-0 in the Spanish Laliga, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an amazing start to the game which saw the home side dominating play going forward with everything going as planned.
Villarreal weren’t too bad in the early stages which saw them giving their opponent a good run in the first 20 minutes of the encounter which was goalless.
Barcelona took the lead in the 31st minutes through a stunning finish which came from Robert Lewandowski with the assist from Jordi Alba to make it 1-0 as it carried on.
The Poland International was able to score his brace for the night in the 35th minute teaming up with Pablo Gavira who provided the assist as the scoreline turned 2-0.
It was more of the home side getting the job done in the first half which saw Ansu Fati making it 3-0 in the 38th minute of the game which entered the few minutes left for first half.
The first half ended with Barcelona taking a 3-0 lead into the break against Villarreal who couldn’t make anything happen for themselves going forward.
Second Half Report
The second half was another one which this time the away side did well enough to keep themselves from conceding any goal further.
Barcelona maintained their advantage and wasn’t too in a hurry to push forward knowing they already had three goal from the first half.
Villarreal was the side so desperate to make something happen which didn’t come despite all their efforts going forward.
The game entered the final stages with the scoreline still the same way it is without anyone adding anything to change the whole thing.
Barcelona was able to end the match with a 3-0 victory against Villarreal after 90 minutes of football played between them on the pitch which was entertaining.
