Manchester United are now ready to offer academy graduate Marcus Rashford a new contract, MySportDab reports.

The 24-year-old’s future at Old Trafford was uncertain over the summer following a poor season, scoring only five goals in 32 matches.

However, he has made a fantastic start to the new season under Erik Ten Hag, scoring three goals in six matches.

According to The Sun, Manchester United are ready to reward Rashford for his good performances with a long-term deal.

The forward has less than one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford, but United have the option to extend for another 12 months.

However, his representatives held secret talks with Paris Saint-Germain in August before the start of the new Premier League season.

But he is now a new loom player under new United Coach Erik ten Hag, who wanted to keep Rashford.

‘No, he’s out of contract, the club has control over the situation,’ Ten Hag said about Rashford.

‘I see a happy player in Rashford. There are phases in his game we can improve, and we have done some work over the last two-and-a-half months. He loves it and wants to show it to the pitch.

‘Everything starts with happiness. He is now smiling every day and you want to improve different aspects of your game.’

Rashford has been the main man in United’s attack in recent weeks, scoring two goals in the 3-1 win against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Two weeks ago, he scored in the 2-1 win against Liverpool to reignite Ten Hag’s era at Manchester United.
