Antony’s score on debut alongside Marcus Rashford’s brace gave Manchester United a 3-1 win to stop Arsenal unbeaten, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half had some controversial moments and an amazing one that created a buzzing atmosphere at Old Trafford.
Arsenal thought they had an early lead in the 12th minute after Gabriel Martinelli had the ball inside the net, but VAR ruled it out for a foul in the buildup.
Manchester United maintained good composure as they had to organize themselves in the match and push to make something happen.
Antony scored on his debut in the 35th minute after a good counter-attack which Marcus Rashford quickly fed the Brazilian, who finished off neatly to make it 1-0.
The first half carried on and ended with nothing coming through as it ended with Manchester United 1-0 Arsenal as they headed inside for the break.
Second Half Report
They came in for the second half with so much happening going forward for both teams who wanted to make something more happen.
Manchester United continued with their advantage going forward as they had everything under control against the Gunners.
Bukayo Saka leveled things for Arsenal in the 60th minute through a calmly slotted-in goal, which brought them back into the match as it continued.
The home side didn’t wait long to restore their lead which happened in the 66th minute with a beautiful delivery from Bruno Fernandes for Marcus Rashford to make it 2-1.
Marcus Rashford made it his brace in the 76th minute with an assist from Christian Eriksen to make it 3-1 from another great goal which killed off any hopes of the away side coming back.
The goal was enough as the match continued until it ended with Manchester United taking a 3-1 victory against Arsenal to continue their run of long wins.
