Manchester United fans have now shown their delight after Christian Eriksen scored a beautiful goal for Denmark vs Croatia, MySportDab reports.

This is the first round of international fixtures before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

While other countries are playing friendlies, European teams are playing in the Nations League.

On Thursday, Eriksen played for Denmark against Croatia in the Nations League.

Denmark lost the match but Christian Eriksen’s goal during the game has now gone viral on social media.

The playmaker has been fantastic in Erik ten Hag’s team over the past few recent weeks and continued that fine form on international duty.

Eriksen got the ball 30 yards from goal, made a quick turn, moved the ball forward a bit and then placed a beautiful shot right into the back of the net.

Manchester United fans are delighted with the goal and some are still shocked their club signed Eriksen on a free transfer last summer.

Fans also hope he can show this goalscoring ability when Manchester United face Manchester City after the international break.

Borna Sosa and Lovro Majer both scored for Croatia as they won 2-1 against Denmark.

During the game, Sosa opened the scoring just after half time with a good finish to give his country the lead.

Christian Eriksen equalised for Denmark on 77 minutes with a fantastic and beautiful shot to make it 1-1.

But, a few minutes later, Majer scored to make it 2-1 for Croatia.

Denmark will face France next in the Nations League.
