Chelsea has officially announced Graham Potter as their new manager, MySportDab reports.

Graham Potter will succeed Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked early yesterday in a 10-minute call with the club owner.

The English International will be taking over immediately as his first challenge will be against Fulham on Saturday.

Chelsea announced yesterday that they had parted ways with manager Thomas Tuchel.

The news shocked many others, including the players who never saw it coming anytime soon.

The move was to make sure there was a new breath of fresh air in the team that had been struggling to get results.

This season hasn’t been that good in making things happen despite all the money spent on players.

Chelsea made some significant signings in the summer window despite missing out on most of their targeted players in the just concluded window.

Thomas Tuchel was let go after he guided the side to their UEFA Champions League loss against Dinamo Zagreb, which ended 1-0.

Graham Potter is the new man in charge of the team, and he has signed his contract to take over as the club’s new manager in a long-term deal.

Here Is What He Said Via Chelsea’s Official Website After Signing:

‘I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Chelsea FC, this fantastic football club.

‘I am very excited to partner with Chelsea’s new ownership group and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be proud of.

‘I would also like to place my sincere thanks to Brighton & Hove Albion for allowing me this opportunity and in particular Tony Bloom and all the players, staff and supporters for their continued support during my time at the club.’

Graham Potter put pen to paper on a five years contract that will keep him with the club until 2027.

The deal will double his wages earned when he was with Brighton And Hove Albion, who are doing well this season.
