Manchester United are now considering a £45m bid for Atletico Madrid striker Matheus Cunha, MySportDab reports.

The Brazilian is ready to join the Premier League despite only signing for Atletico Madrid last summer on a five year contract.

Atletico are desperate to sell players this summer and the 23-year-old interests Manchester United.

A deal for Cristiano Ronaldo was not discussed at with United still adamant that he’s not for sale.

United have been working to get new signings for Coach Erik Ten Hag before the transfer window closes.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have already held talks with Cunha’s agents but no offer has been submitted.

Atletico Madrid would want more than €50m for a player they signed at just €30m one year ago.

One of the other options for Manchester United is Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic, worth £15m.

Cody Gakpo of PSV Eindhoven is also on the Red Devils shortlist.

Antony of Ajax was previously on the shortlist but Ajax’s demands for the player are simply outrageous.

Cunha came on as a second half substitute for Atletico Madrid against Getafe on Monday.

The Brazil International can play as a striker and also a winger, which will be a massive bonus for the Red Devils.
