Paris Saint Germain thrashed Montpellier 5-2 as Neymar scored a brace with Kylian Mbappe getting one goal, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was filled with a lot of goals happening as there was no stopping of Paris Saint Germain who made sure it was raining goals.
Kylian Mbappe had a chance in the 23rd minute to give PSG a 1-0 lead but he couldn’t convert from the penalty spot after a foul committed.
Montpellier scored an own-goal through Falaye Sacko which saw them going down 1-0 as the home side took the advantage from the error committed.
Neymar scored another goal in the 43rd minute of the game from the penalty spot which saw the lead increased to 2-0 going forward in the enough.
The first half ended with Paris Saint Germain 2-0 Montpellier as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half was brilliant coming from both teams who did well enough to make something of their own happen after 45 minutes.
Neymar scored his brace in the 51st minutes of the match making it a 3-0 scoreline for Paris Saint Germain from a goal which was spectacular for the Brazilian.
Montpellier had some opportunities of their own which saw Wahbi Khazri pulling one goal back in the 58th minute to make it 3-1 as it carried on between them.
Kylian Mbappe scored in the 69th minute of the encounter to ensure the margin was restored and this time the scoreline became 4-1.
Neymar scored in the 58th minute but unfortunately it was ruled out by VAR who had to review and saw there was an issue resulting to no goal given.
Renato Sanches 88th minute goal made it 5-1 but it couldn’t stay that way as late finish from Enzo Tchato dragged it to 5-2 with just few minutes left to play.
The match ended with Paris Saint Germain taking a comfortable 5-2 victory against Montpellier after 90 minutes of football played between them for the encounter.
