Premier League club Aston villa has been caught on camera performing some rituals in preparations for the 2022-23 Premier League season, MySportDab reports.
The players could be seen lining up as the ritual priests dressed in half naked ropes walks across them.
They held what appears to be a burning wood of fire and take a walk on the faces of the players.
The smokes were made to wreath through the faces of the as the priests walk by.

Others who were observing the ritual could be seen standing some few miles away while the players does the ritual.
MySportDab learns that the ritual is Aston Villa’s preparation for the 2022-23 Premier League season.
Meanwhile, the video which has gone viral has attracted reactions from many football fans.
Some fans mocked the team for such a barbaric approach to the 2022-23 Premier League season.
One of the fans @collinsjay said that he expects Aston Villa to win all their games as 2022-23 EPL season starts.
He went on to make a sarcastic reference to the ritual when they will be defeated ‘imagine getting whipped 6:0 after doing all these. I will keep watch of their results through out the whole season.’
@Ezekiel corroborated saying ‘I will join you in this. We will tag ourselves when City knacked them 5:0.’
Aston Villa pull strong Premier League performance last season and finished strong.
They will travel to take on Bournemouth in their first Premier League fixture on Saturday August 6.
