Manchester United’s attempts to sign Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord has now gotten more complicated, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils already agreed a deal with Feyenoord worth €13m plus add ons for the left back.
However, there is now a big issue on the player side and this is delaying the deal from being finalised.
Lyon came close to signing Malacia a few days ago before United jumped in and hijacked the transfer.
Now, United’s bid to sign the player is at risk of being a failure, which will be good news for Lyon.
According to The Athletic, Tyrell Malacia’s transfer to Manchester United is now complicated due to an issue about his agent for the deal.

United already have reached full agreement with Feyenoord to sign the 22-year-old Netherlands International.
So only personal terms is left to be settled and everything will be done.
However, The Athletic claim that sources close to the Feyenoord believe that the agent Malacia has worked with in the past has not been authorised for the deal.
So this an issue that must be fixed before it can be finalised.
The left-back has refused to use his agent Ali Dursun to seal his transfer to Old Trafford.
He is now working on the deal with his father instead.
It remains unknown if the same factor will affect United’s plans to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, given Dursun is also his agent.
