Man United’s shocking plan for their legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been revealed, MySportDab reports.

Man United has been maintaining a different public face over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo in the club.

Since Ronaldo made public his intention to leave Old Trafford after the end of last summer, United have been insisting on keeping the 37-year-old.

Ronaldo had gone on vacation, excusing himself from the Man United preseason tour, citing family reasons.

The multiple Ballon d ‘0r winner jets back today to England with his Old Trafford future on the agenda.

Ronaldo has been reportedly pushing for a move to Atletico Madrid with the hope of playing Champions League football next summer.

He had accepted a paycut of 30% to effect the move as the Spanish giants admitted financial constraints as a hindrance to a possible Ronaldo deal.

Meanwhile, United have continued to reiterate publicly that Ronaldo is not for sale.

Erik Ten Hag made it known that he is eager to work with Ronaldo as he resumes his hask to rebuild the Old Trafford club.

However, the Mirror football reports that United have been privately trying to offload the Portugal international.

They have reportedly accepted that Erik Ten Hag’s effort can be disrupted if Ronaldo still remains at the club.

Sources closer to the situation at Old Trafford have admitted that Ten Hag has been trying to organise Man United’s dressing room.

 

Ronaldo returns to Old Trafford and is set to discuss his Old future with the club. It has been confirmed that he may likely miss United’s first 2022-23 Premier League opening fixture against Brighton.
