Chelsea are turning attention back to making a move for Wesley Fofana this summed window, MySportDab reports.

Wesley Fofana has been a long time target for Chelsea who are looking forward to making a move happen this summer window.

The Premier League giant have been frustrated in all their attempts to sign more players this summer window as they have seen other teams hijack players from them.

The Blues recently saw their attempt to sign Jules Kounde jeopardize by Barcelona who seems to have hijack the move like they did to others who could have join them.

Chelsea already had an offer of €55 million submitted but failed to get a respond from Sevilla who were expected to give the greenlight for a move.

Latest reports claimed Barcelona have made an offer for the same player which an agreement is just a matter of time between them and Sevilla.

The same issue the Premier League side had to go through with Raphinha who Chelsea reached an agreement with Leeds United only for Barca to come in.

They are now looking into making a move for Foxes defender who has been their long time target who is also expensive in the market.

Leicester have set an asking price of at least £70m for defender Wesley Fofana, according to reports reaching us from CBS Sports.

Fofana has been linked with Chelsea, but Brenden Rodgers has no interest in losing him this summer window as he is one of their key players.

No club has officially approached Leicester City to sign the defender, who signed a long-term contract in March that is expected to keep him longer.

Chelsea are running out of options in their defensive department which is somewhere they are looking to work upon ahead of the new season after two departures.
