There is not a lot of information available regarding Amanda’s childhood. On May 30th, 1988, she entered the world in the city of Salvador in the Brazilian state of Bahia.

The first fight of its kind occurred in March 2008, at the second installment of the Prime MMA Championship.

The athlete was unsuccessful because her opponent submitted her to an armbar, eliminating any possible success.

Despite this, Nunes went on to win his next five matches.

Amanda could advance to a new level due to her string of remarkable triumphs.

In 2011, she competed against her countrywoman Julia Budd at the biggest event that promotion has to offer, which was StikeForce.

It took Amanda 14 seconds to win against her opponent, making for an impressive first performance.
