Victor Osimhen has shared shocking details about his injury at Napoli, which left him with 18 screws, MySportDab reports.

Victor Osimhen reveals the experience which happened back in November 2021, leaving him out for a couple of weeks injured.

He sustained the injury after a clash of heads with Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar who landed safely with the Nigerian hitting the hard side.

The striker was required to undergo an emergency surgery which had him facing a lot of pains keeping him from doing regular activities.

During Napoli Vs. Inter Milan match, Victor Osimhen was forced off the game in the second half of the competition, which was going down in San Siro.

The injury resulted from a sickening clash of heads with Milan Skriniar of Inter, who went in while Nigeria had his face clattered on the defender’s head.

Osimhen face was left in disorder as he was helped off the pitch by the medics, who immediately took him for emergency surgery.

Here Is What He Said To Wazobia FM:

That injury I had against Inter Milan was like a near-death injury.

“I am the only one that felt it, and I can only speak about how I felt because it was my face and body.

“But to be able to stand up without using the stretcher, walk out of the pitch on my own, I knew that it was something I could handle.

“As I got to the hospital, I told my doctor I would be out for two weeks.”

He recalls the moment a near-death experience having to go through such which have made him stronger and a better player.

Victor Osimhen could come back stronger as he finished off the season, scoring 18 league goals for Napoli.
