Antonio Rudiger has officially been unveiled by Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.
Antonio Rudiger joined Real Madrid from Chelsea after the end of his contract with the Blues which no agreement was able to be reached between both parties.
The Spanish side who recently unveiled Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco has finally announced another new player who recently joined them.
The German signed as a free agent from Chelsea which makes him the second biggest signing for Real Madrid this summer window despite him coming on for the cost of nothing.
He is expected to partner with David Alaba in the middle of the defense ahead of the new season which they will be looking to retain their UEFA Champions League title and laliga.
Antonio Rudiger put pen to paper a four year deal which will keep him with the club until 2026 with that also expected to be his last big move.
Reason for Chelsea fall out was due to lower offer being made to him that the Spanish side were willing to do better with their payment in wages which is €315, 000 weekly.
Antonio Rudiger had so much to say after being unveiled via Real Madrid official website.
Here Is What He Said:
“It’s a very special day for all of us, but especially for me,’ the defender told reporters at his unveiling.
“I would like to thank my parents, because without them I could not be here.
“They have always supported me and that throughout my life has been very very important.
“I also want to thank the president of Real Madrid for giving me the opportunity to play for this great club.
“I can promise you that I will give everything for this club. I want to win as many titles as we can. Hala Madrid and nothing else!’
Antonio Rudiger also claimed he was approached by Barcelona who wanted to sign him before he decided it was Real Madrid or nothing this summer window.
