Brazilian star Marcelo Vieira has revealed his following plans after an emotional farewell party by Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.

It was a tense and emotional atmosphere in the Spanish capital as Marcelo finally waved goodbye to the Bernabeu stadium.

The event was attended by his friends, relatives, family members, and members of the Real Madrid squad.

The most decorated Real Madrid player broke down in tears as he thanked Real Madrid for the opportunity to play in one of the top clubs in Europe.

Marcelo joined Real Madrid in 2007 and has won a total of 25 trophies in his spell with the Merengues.

2022-21 UEFA Champions League was the last trophy he won with the Los Blancos after a 1-0 win over Liverpool in Paris.

Marcelo has Club World Cup, Spanish Super Cup, European Super Cup, La Liga, Copa Del Rey and the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid’s President heaped praise on the Brazilian international for his contributions to the team since 2007.

Marcelo has spent his entire career at Real Madrid since joining the club as a youngster in 2007.

Former teammate and Spanish international Sergio Ramos have joined others to congratulate the player for a heroic and successful spell at Real Madrid.

Until his departure, Marcelo captained the Los Blancos through various competitions and is one of the oldest players in the squad.

In an emotional farewell message, Marcelo revealed that he would not head home to Brazil to play.

He stated that he wants to play in Europe and will want to join a team that has qualified for the Champions League next season.

Since joining Real Madrid, Marcelo has made a total of 546 appearances and has scored 38 goals for Real Madrid.
