Manchester United is edging closer to a €60 million Antony deal with Ajax this summer, MySportDab reports.

Antony is a target for Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag in this summer window which has already opened for business.

The winger has been an outstanding performer for Ajax’s side over the last two seasons playing for the Dutch League.

His representatives are in talks to close a deal with the Red Devils who are keen on making the move happen this summer window.

It is claimed by GOAL! that Manchester United are already preparing their first official bid for the player who they have shown strong interest in signing.

Erik Ten Hag is expected to bring him to the Premier League as his first signing amongst others that are likely to be made this summer window.

Antony representatives are already moving around Europe to enable them to facilitate a move in the coming days or weeks for their client.

He is expected to cost Manchester United €60 million which they are willing to drop to make sure the move is completed as soon as possible.

The English Premier League side has shown confidence that they could complete a deal with the transfer window officially opened for business.

They are hoping to use their good connection with Ajax to enable them to make the move happen by any means possible this summer.

A move happening could see Antony’s former club Sao Paulo stand to make about €15m based on the clause placed on a deal when he was sold to Ajax.

He made the move to the Dutch League back in 2020 signing a long-term deal in which he immediately established himself.
