Chelsea and Manchester United are now locked in for a possible Antony move this summer, MySportDab reports.

Antony expected to leave Ajax this summer with interests pouring in for a possible move to see him join a better team ahead of the new season.

Manchester United have long claimed strong interest in signing him due to Erik Ten Hag’s connection, but it hasn’t gone down easy for them, with Ajax making sure they get a huge fee to let him go.

The Old Trafford club is yet to make any movement for the player. They now have to face competition from Chelsea, who is looking to make a move happen from their end.

There is a lot now on the table, and the two English Premier League aren’t the only clubs interested in making a move happen as they are other European sides monitoring things for now.

Antony will cost at least €40 million in the market, having joined Ajax just a few years ago with his contract still running in the next three seasons.

According to several reports, they confirmed the move for the attacker is between Chelsea and Manchester United, who are pushing to make a deal happen.

While the Brazilian winger is keen on moving to Manchester United, 90min reports that Chelsea is also in the race.

Chelsea is one of the clubs who have recently conducted discussions with the representatives of Ajax winger Antony as they want to make a move happen.

Manchester United have identified the 22-year-old as their top attacking target and is currently the frontrunner to sign him this summer.

Though, they could now face competition from Chelsea, who are after attacking reinforcements themselves after losing Romelu Lukaku.

Antony is available for the right price, but in another case, Ajax is hoping they can keep him long as he has been one of their key players.
