Bayern Munich has unveiled new signing Sadio Mane who joins them from Liverpool, MySportDab reports.
Sadio Mane has put pen to paper on a contract that will see him remain with the club until 2025 after completing his medicals.
The move did not take much time for the Senegalese to decide on saying yes after the offer came in from the Bavarians looking to sign him.
Liverpool had two bids turned down from Bayern Munich who made an offer that wasn’t seen as good enough by the Premier League side to accept.
The Bavarians were able to increase their offer which was agreed upon by both of them after negotiations in which the player had to undergo medical.
The move is now official for a fee of €32 million-plus add ons which could see everything increase to about €41 million in the total package.
Sadio Mane contract with Bayern Munich is three years which is expected to come to an end in June 2025 which he could leave for free or extend.
The 30-year-old should be 33 when his contract comes to an end, but there could be an agreement that will enable him to remain further with them pending his performance.
Sadio Mane had a lot to say after signing his contract which he talked to Bayern Munich’s official website.
Here Is What He Said:
“I’m really happy to finally be at FC Bayern in Munich.
“We spoke a lot and I felt a big interest in this great club right from the beginning, so for me, there were no doubts.
“It’s the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve a lot with this club, in Europe too.
“During my time in Salzburg I watched a lot of Bayern games – I like this club!”
Sadio Mane time with Liverpool is officially done as he will begin another chapter with Bayern Munich ahead of the new season coming up.
