Gabriel Jesus’ agent Marcelo Pettinati has revealed the position of his client on the circulating rumours linking him to a summer transfer to Arsenal, MySportDab reports.

Gabriel Jesus has been linked to an end of the day he summer move to Arsenal after the arrival of Dortmund star striker Erling Haaland.

Manchester City had announced the signing of the Norwegian international into the Citizens attacking options.

The move has been seen as a threat to Gabriel Jesus who still has a year remaining in his contract.

Gabriel Jesus has reportedly refused to extend his stay at Manchester City amidst interest by another Premier League side Arsenal.

According to his agent, Gabriel Jesus is keen of having the deal and transfer talks with the Gunners sail through.

Marcelo Pettinati also confirmed that he had had a transfer talk with the London based club and Gabriel Jesus is enthusiastic of a possible deal.

“Yes, we met with Arsenal on Gabriel Jesus, the project is a good one and we are okay with it.”

Pettinati also revealed that six other clubs are already lining up a bid for the Brazililan striker but the player is focused on Manchester City’s final matches.

Gabriel Jesus joined Manchester City in 2017. The Brazilian has made 26 appearances this season for Manchester City and has scored 8 goals with 8 assists.
