Everton beat Chelsea 1-0 from a lone goal scored by Richarlison in the English Premier League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The game started with a good welcoming for the home fans who made sure they stood behind their team in the fair first-half air.
Everton started by them pushing many such bodies forward as they looked to make sure they get the opening goal of the match knowing they needed it badly.
It wasn’t working out as well for Chelsea who saw more of the ball but couldn’t manage to push through on the defenders who were solid at the back ensuring nothing went past them.
It was looking evenly balanced despite what the home side did going forward with the match progressing and provided some heated moments which saw yellow cards flying out from the referee.
There was no clear caught opportunity as the first half ended with Everton 0-0 Chelsea after 45 minutes of football played between them at Goodison Park.
Second Half Report
The second half was solid in the start which saw both of them moving forward in numbers anytime they had the opportunity of doing so in the encounter.
Everton continued well and it paid off as Richarlison benefited from Cesar Azpilicueta’s mistake which the Brazilian made it 1-0 in the 47th minute of the match.
Chelsea had no choice but to carry on with the game which was slowly slipping away from them as all their opportunities on goal couldn’t result in them making it count as it progressed.
It was looking one-sided with the Blues pressing very hard looking for a way of making something happen which proved otherwise as it wasn’t working.
The game slowly carried on until it ended with Everton beating Chelsea 1-0 which give them more hopes of surviving the relegation drop going forward in the season.
