Beautiful start in the first half which saw the Stadium packed as the new owners were present to watch.

It was all about Chelsea pressing their opponent in the early stages of the half which saw opportunities created.

It wasn’t a pleasant one for Wolves who had to do everything possible to make sure they didn’t go down early.

More opportunities were seen but nothing happened in the game which wasn’t filled with many openings to operate.

Timo Werner scored in the match but it was tagged as a foul after he brought down a defender before the goal.

Ruben Loftus Cheek scored in the 41st minute from a corner, but it was ruled out as offside after a VAR check.

It wasn’t meant to be as the first half ended with Chelsea 0-0 Wolves after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report

It was good in the second half as both teams had something to celebrate all through the 45 minutes.

Chelsea had to wait until the 56th minute which saw Romelu Lukaku score from the penalty spot to make it 1-0.

It was a good one for the Belgians who have been without goals for a long time before hitting one against the Wolves.

Romelu Lukaku once again scored another goal in the 58th minute of the match thanks to assisting from Christian Pulisic who made it 2-0.

It was looking done and dusted until Trincao scored in the 79th minute to make it 2-1 from a lovely strike outside.

Chelsea Vs Wolves

Another one filled up in the 90th minute plus as Conor Coady scored to make it 2-2 in a shocking one that wasn’t expected.
