Declan Rice is set to reject West Ham’s new offer for contract extension, MySportDab reports.

West Ham had offered Rice what football pundits consider as outrageous and crazy deal involving eight years contract extension.

They have also slammed a high price tag of £150million on the head of the player to ward off interests from from potential suitors.

The offer was expected to discourage other clubs from bidding for the player.

Top premier league clubs – Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United  have indicated interest in signing the player.

According Sunsports, the 23-year-old defensive midfielder may likely reject the deal despite the crazy amount being offered.

Rice have made a total of 34  Premier League appearances for West Ham scoring 1 goal and giving 4 assists.

Rice joined West Ham Youth Football team in 2014 and has became an indispensable part of the team.

His first call-up to West Ham-U23 senior team was in 2017 and made his premiership debut against Burnley.

Rice has become one of the most valuable player for West Ham. He had came out as runner-up in the 2017-18 Hammer of the Year award.

He finished behind West Ham top striker, Marko Arnautovic and has been the youngest player to make a total of 50 appearances for West Ham.

Rice signed a contract extension deal that will see him remain in the club in December 2018.

A deal that will have him stay at the club till 2024 with an option to add a year

The England international scored his first goal against Arsenal in a crucial encounter and won the man of the match.

The 23-year-old has been named the Young Hammer of the year and has win that for three consecutive times.

As at the time of filing this report, reason behind the rumoured attempt to reject the deal us undisclosed.
