Cristiano Ronaldo has been named English Premier League player of the month for April, MySportDab reports.
The Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded for his outstanding performance for April.
It wasn’t a good month for the Red Devils, But the 37 year old was able to make things happen scoring five goals all through.
Although most of them wasn’t enough at that point which the team were enable to produce a good result for themselves which had affected them mostly.
Amongst those goals was his hatrrick against Norwich City which also included a freekick coming from the striker in that encounter.
The game ended in a 3-2 result which the Portuguese made sure of that by scoring a second half freekick to wrapped off the win.
A goal was followed up during the match against Arsenal which was another disaster for the Manchester United team who couldn’t make something happen.
Cristiano Ronaldo was the only man carrying the loads at the club which other players have been failing to perform all through the campaign.
He also carried on his form going into the game against Chelsea which could have ended badly, but thanks to his empathic finish on that day they ended with 1-1.
He did so much for the team which earned him the award beating others who were nominated alongside him for the award.
This won’t be the first time of winning the award this season as he already won it before and just recently added another one to the list.
It is the second time he will be claiming the award after already won it back in September after an incredible month.
He has continued to raise the bar up with a player of his age still performing better than anyone else on the pitch for Manchester United this season.
