MySportDab learns that the UK Government has finally approved the change of ownership, which will end Abramovich’s 19 years reign at Chelsea.
Before the approval, Abramovich and the UK government were embroiled in a bitter face-off and disagreements over who will take ownership and control of the £4.25 takeover deal.
The Russian investor had purportedly insisted that he would recover the loan he gave to the club after he was stripped of the ownership of the club.
The UK government issued threats of non-renewal of the Blues’ licence, which was set to expire on 31st May.
The government needed assurances that Abramovich, with his alleged ties to Vladimir Putin, would not benefit from the deal’s proceeds.

Chelsea Coach Thomas Tuchel had admitted that the face-off between the embattled Chelsea owner and the Uk government had affected the team.
MySportDab learnt that the UK government backed off from threats of not renewing the Blues’ licence when Abramovich’s concession was back up legally.
